I can't say enough good things about Artisan Interiors and David. First, they were the only business that replied to our inquiries on Yelp. We have a custom couch that desperately needed its cushions brought back to life. These artisans did a fantastic job! Our couch feels as firm as when we first bought it 8 years ago. I really believe you get what you pay for, and for us, this couch was worth investing in. Also a lot less expensive than getting a new couch. The two family heirloom chairs Artisan Interiors craftsmen re-upholstered for us are absolutely stunning! Our dogs had chewed up the legs and seat cushions but you wouldn't know that now... the chairs look brand new! We highly recommend Artisan Interiors to turn your old hand me downs into beautiful furniture. We inherited and old 1960"s couch with good bones and they totally took it down to the base and made it like new.
David and his crew fixed up another couch we bought 2nd hand and its perfect.
We plan on having some antique dining chairs done next.
Keep you old furniture out of the land fill, just have it recovered.

I found Artisan Interiors through Yelp, and their reviews are all accurate. They are professional and provide the highest in quality of service and craftsmanship. The "artisan" in their name is no accident. They produce works of art. You do pay for that quality, but it is well worth it.
I have an Eames Lounge Chair and ottoman that needed new upholstery, and to my surprise, they actually specialize in this work. They had three others in their shop when I stopped in. Their leather is of the highest quality, and my forty-year-old chair looks new again. I truly, couldn't be happier.
I can't recommend them highly enough. I make my own furniture, and I will be returning to them to upholster all of the furniture I make.

Wow! I can't say enough about how good these folks are. We had a project to reupholster a pair of mid-century barrel chairs as a gift for my sister and brother in law's 50th wedding anniversary. They had belonged to my brother in law's mother. The whole family contributed to the project. The chairs turned out spectacular and my sister and brother in law were moved to tears. Artisan is such a good name for this business. These chairs are a work of art. I would highly recommend their work and their exceptional customer service!

We had our 8 foot sofa reupholstered with Artisan and we were completely delighted with the entire experience from the in home visits to pick fabric and taking precise measurement all thru pick up and delivery well within our time frame request. We had a family gathering planned for a memorial of a dear member of our extended family and the Artisan folks really hustled to get our sofa back to us before we had 35 people here. We felt as important to them as family! I love that this is a family founded and is now a 2 generation company where there is joy in doing excellent work for each and every customer.

My mother needed some help upholstering some family heirloom furniture. She can do her own upholstering, but there were three pieces that required work. I knew that the person for the job needed to be someone she could trust with her treasures as well as someone who took pride in the details. Since I was hiring for my mom, I wanted someone who was kind and would treat my mom right. David was all of these things and then some.
The moment I contacted him, he tried to fit in all three of my pieces. He knew I wanted them finished quickly and was willing to put pressure on himself to complete the job. He also inquired about pattern alignment, which reassured me that he knew his stuff AND he was willing to work with material that my mother had already purchased for the furniture.
He reupholstered and foam fitted a couch and a butterfly wing chair. The third piece was a very old rocking chair. On this he completely took apart the seat and fixed it with new springs, batting, the works!
The entire time, David was what you would expect from a professional of his craft and more. He was easy to communicate with, focused on the job, and willing to make things work better for the customer. He was also very kind and the finished products were as if they were brand new! He is a true artist of his craft.
