The Challenge
Allora’s dining chairs had experienced years of daily restaurant use, resulting in stained upholstery, worn fabric, detached chair backs, and worn leg end caps. The restaurant needed a solution that would improve durability while minimizing disruption to daily operations. Because the chairs were in constant use, the work needed to be carefully planned and executed without impacting the guest experience.
The Solution
Artisan Interiors developed a phased restoration plan that allowed the restaurant to remain fully operational throughout the project. After producing a prototype chair for review and approval, our team restored and reupholstered 64 dining chairs over a four-week period. Structural repairs were performed on detached chair backs, worn leg end caps were replaced, and the seating was upgraded with commercial-grade liquid repellent, stain-resistant velvet selected for both performance and appearance.
